Today the Bitcoin price fell below $30000. At night, the largest cryptocurrency rolled back to $28800 on Bitstamp.
Since reaching the peak values, BTC has fallen in price by more than 30%. Recall that in the middle of this month, Bitcoin reached $42000.
After a shocking two-day fall, the cryptocurrency was able to partially recoup, thanks to the return of support from large players who are not interested in falling below $30000.
At the time of publication, BTC is trading at around $32200. The capitalization of digital currency has grown to $582.07 billion. Note that in 2020, Bitcoin soared in price by more than 300%.
Following Bitcoin, the largest altcoin Ethereum (ETH) showed a breakthrough. For the first time in three years, this coin topped $1420. Ethereum has grown by 471% over the past 12 months and is currently trading at $1145.
The value of all digital currencies has dropped to $900 billion, although only a few days ago it exceeded $1 trillion. The largest losses from the top ten altcoins in the last 24 hours were suffered by Cardano (ADA) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), which fell to $0,31 and $415, respectively (-13.5%).
