Crypto Exchange Bitstamp, a cryptocurrency trading platform with a European registration, has announced about a partnership agreement with online bank Dukascopy Bank.

Bitstamp and Dukascopy Bank will jointly serve the cryptocurrency and banking operations of their clients, striving to ensure the maximum convenience for transferring,  trading and banking assets from a cryptocurrency form to a fiat one.

“This partnership is another step towards our goal of bridging the gap between crypto and traditional finances,” representatives of Bitstamp said in the official blog of the exchange.

It is reported that customers of Dukascopy Bank will be able to send cryptocurrency (now, it is only about Bitcoins) directly to their bank accounts, where they will be automatically converted to the USD. In the same way, the US dollars can be converted to BTC from bank accounts - simply by sending them to the Bitstamp cryptocurrency wallet. The crypto money exchange will also serve all exchange operations of Dukascopy Bank with crypto active assets. Under the partnership agreement, the cryptocurrency owners will be able to trade on the Forex market through the online trading platform Dukascopy Swiss FX Marketplace.

Bitstamp Crypto Exchange has been operating since 2011 and has a license that allows to trade cryptocurrencies in the entire European Union. Dukascopy Bank specializes in online trading and banking, developing its own cryptocurrency projects. The launch of the ICO campaign is planned for March 1, 2019. It is planned to issue the Dukascoin token. In the case of the project, it will be the first in the history of ICO Swiss Bank.

Swiss banks actively cooperate with blockchain startups and develop cryptocurrency services. Recently, Falcon Private Bank, one of the leading private banks in Switzerland, launched the advanced crypto active financial services package for its customers. It includes direct cryptocurrency transfers of four cryptocurrencies (BTC, BCH, ETH, and LTC) to bank accounts, as well as exchange and deposit operations with them. The banking service for cryptocurrency holders is also provided by a number of other Swiss banks: Vontobel, Maerki Baumann, Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, etc.
